Toshiyuki Morikawa, Satomi Satou join cast of October 6 series




On Monday, September 29th, the television anime adaptation of Masuo Kinokuniya's light novel series "A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai" will be streamed. Additionally, information about the ending theme song artist and additional cast members has been disclosed.

The below new trailer previews the ending theme song "Mugen Trip" by rock duo Nakigoto.

Toshiyuki Morikawa portrays Clayston, a member of the guild 'Ewropa,' who is a lizardman warrior.

Satomi Satou performs as Hofvalpnir in Pnir, which is referred to as a divine beast representing an Ancient Horse with its true name being Hofvalpnir.

In Japan, the anime series will initially be available for streaming exclusively through U-NEXT starting September 29 at midnight (Japanese time). Following this, it will also be shown on Tokyo MX and BS11 television networks at midnight on October 6th (Japanese time). Crunchyroll has been granted permission to broadcast the series worldwide outside of Asia; however, their specific broadcast schedule has yet to be disclosed.

The anime will star:

- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Takeru
- Ayasa Itō as Bee
- Makoto Koichi as Brolite


Yoshinori Odaka is directing the anime for Coro Coro All-Star Shōgakkō at Tatsunoko Production and Synergy SP studios. Gigaemon Ichikawa is in charge of writing the series scripts, while Mayumi Watanabe is designing the characters. GENCO is producing the series. Hiroshi Takaki is composing the music for the series, which includes Witchy !, Precure entries, AKB0048, and Butt Detective.

Alpha Manga publishes the manga adaptation in English and describes the story:

Takeru Kamishiro is a normal guy with an ordinary office job, but finds himself summoned to another world. In December 2017, Kinoko started their light novel series on the AlphaPolis platform. As of March 19th, they have released the 16th volume, with the 17th volume coming out on September 12th. Currently, there are 1.73 million copies of this series available (including digital copies). Notably, this series won both the grand prize and readers' choice award in the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Prizes.

The manga version of the story was illustrated by Tomozo. The first book was released in November 2018 by AlphaPolis, while they published the eighth volume in August 2024.
